Dr. Hakala completed her medical degree, general adult residency, and child psychiatry fellowship at the University of South Florida. She provides caring compassionate treatment and has experience with the following populations: child and adolescent, eating disorder, autism and other pervasive developmental disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and PTSD due to military or sexual trauma.  She also has completed training for treating opioid dependence with Suboxone.  Weekend and evening hours are available by appointment.
